Polo Season 2025/26 Wrap
The 2025/26 Val de Vie Polo League kicked off on Saturday 18 October 2025 with the annual Pony Parade. Riders set off from the Stella Artois Val de Vie Polo Clubhouse, riding through the Estate as residents lined the route, clapping and cheering. The parade is a highlight for families and supporters alike, marking the start of the season and bringing the community together.
As the season progressed, matches unfolded week by week, keeping spectators engaged and the leaderboard tight. By the time the final arrived on Saturday 7 March, four teams were closely matched by just one point, creating a close finish that had spectators on the edge of their seats.
At the Pavilion Polo Field, the clubhouse and berms were bustling. Guests enjoyed food trucks, while the bar stayed served cold beers and other drinks. Children ran between a jumping castle and the sidelines and a DJ kept the background lively.
The final matches brought the 2025/26 season to a close. On the field, CTC, Fijnland Polo Team and Banditos secured wins. When the final scores were in, CTC led the league with 16 points, Fijnland Polo Team was close behind with 15 and Barron came in third with 12 points. Ryk Neethling from Fijnland Polo Team took home the Golden Mallet for scoring the most goals, wrapping up a season full of fierce competition.
The Stella Artois Val de Vie Polo Clubhouse also stands out for its membership perks. Residents can attend international events, get discounts on merchandise and receive a free polo shirt, cap and a bottle of MCC on their birthday. The clubhouse features lounges, a bar and prime views of the Pavilion Polo Field, making it a great spot to watch polo or hang out with friends before or after matches.
