THE MASTER PLAN

Val de Vie Utilities is presently engaged in a multifaceted initiative aimed at consolidating assets, eliminating load shedding across the entire estate, reducing the cost of electricity, and improving services delivery.

In addition, we are actively collaborating with neighbouring entities in a concerted effort to eradicate load shedding and reduced costs to the benefit of the broader community.

EFFICIENT AND FREE
EFT PAYMENT SYSTEM

From 1 December 2023, you can settle your water and electricity bills through our complimentary EFT option.

To facilitate a hassle-free experience, Val de Vie Utilities is actively setting up accounts with each of the major banks. Currently, our account details are as follows:

Our commitment to transparency is at the core of our vision. Val de Vie Utilities has procured an integrated information system, granting account holders access to consumption profiles, transaction records, and supporting documents like invoices and proof of payment. Additionally, the system allows users to update their account and contact information effortlessly.

HOW WE FIT IN
SEAMLESS INTEGRATION

Effective from 1 December 2023, Val de Vie Utilities will:

  • Supply electricity to residents of Val de Vie II, with plans underway for extension to The Vines II (Val de Vie I), pending discussions between the HOA and Drakenstein Municipality);
  • Maintain the electricity network;
  • Operate a 24/7 care desk to address customer queries and concerns;
  • Call-out service for power interruptions;
  • Handling invoicing for electricity and water consumption (water billing remains under HOA control);
  • Managing the collection of all electricity and water-related revenues;
  • Upgrade of electricity supply points;
  • Addressing special requests related to electricity supply matters.

Val de Vie II encompasses the following areas:

  • Gentleman’s Estate
  • La Vue
  • Le Domaine
  • The Vines at Le Domaine
  • The Reserve North & South
  • River Club
  • The Yard
  • Polo Village Apartments II

The Vines II (situated within Val de Vie I) will also be serviced by Val de Vie Utilities from 1 December 2023

Val de Vie Utilities is confident that the remaining areas, including Val de Vie I, will be serviced by Val de Vie Utilities in the near future.
