Life in the Biodiversity Corridor

Did You Know?

Life and nature coexist beautifully on Val de Vie Estate. The Estate, spanning nearly 600 hectares in size, contains a magnificent 40-hectare Renosterveld biodiversity corridor, one of the rarest ecosystems in South Africa. A rich community of 29 mammals, 950 plant species, 151 bird species and 15 species of dragonflies and damselflies call it home. This makes Val de Vie Estate one of the country’s most ecologically diverse residential estates, providing a lifestyle unlike any other. And while nature flourishes, so do our residents, knowing they are safe with more than 600 cameras, 17 km of electrified fencing, and a dedicated on-site ambulance and team that has already responded to more than 337 emergencies this year alone. It is no wonder Val de Vie Estate is known as the Valley of Life.
