The Vodacom Shop Celebrity Golf Day returns to the Pearl Valley Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course at Val de Vie Estate on Thursday 7 November 2019. This golf day aids in raising funds for the Val de Vie Foundation, whose aim is to create a better life for all in the Drakenstein Valley.  This year all funds raised will go towards the Good Hope Day Care Centre in Mbekweni, Paarl. Orleansvale Primary School Roof Unveiling

      Over one thousand learners at Orleansvale Primary School, located in Chicago, Paarl East, witnessed on Friday 1 September 2017 the realisation of a dream that was created in 1981. A roof constructed over the school quad now provides learners, and the greater community, an area that is protected from rain and heat. The Franschhoek-Paarl Valley is known for its extreme weather conditions – ranging from bitter cold, rainy winter days to summer temperatures of over 40 degrees Celsius. Val de Vie Foundation Honours the Spirit of Madiba

  On Sunday, 16 July 2017, the Val de Vie Foundation honoured Nelson Mandela’s teachings by gathering his rainbow nation to celebrate with the senior citizens of Rusthof Old Age Home in Paarl East. Val de Vie residents contributed to a Blanket Drive which culminated in the delivery of 105 blankets for the frail elderly of the home. A Dream Comes True with the Val de Vie Foundation

  Andre du Toit, coach for Klapmuts primary has big dreams for his school, the community and the aspiring young Boks that live in the Western Cape community. On May 5th and 6th, that vision became a reality with a highly professional 7's tournament right here in Klapmuts. 100 under 13 players from 10 schools and 80 organizers were involved over the 2 days.   Too often we have to sadly report on the crime and violence that flares up in the Paarl area. Today is not such a day. Today we celebrate a coming together of an inspirational school headmaster,  true caring from the Val de Vie Foundation, realisation of a dream by Khula Development Group,  the generosity of local businesses and our very own, supportive SAPS.
