The Stella Artois Val de Vie Polo Club hosts a calendar of incredible polo league, tournament and Cup matches during a season that runs from October to May. POLO EVENTS

Val de Vie Estate hosts a calendar of incredible polo events that celebrate the elegance of the ‘sport of kings’. Our annual Pink Polo event is dedicated to supporting CANSA Paarl through the Val de Vie Foundation, raising crucial funds for cancer research, community outreach and screening. Val de Vie Estate also plays host to the 2025 Standard Bank Polo Test Match for the first time in 15 years. Visitors from across the globe gather on the Estate to witness unforgettable polo matches in a picturesque environment.

Overlooking the Pavilion Polo field, the Back’s Polo Pavilion restaurant offers front-row seats to the excitement of the game, where you can enjoy a glass of wine, savour a refined seasonal menu and experience a live game of polo from the comfort of your table. Tailgating

The tradition of “tailgating,” where cars are parked with their boots outwards towards the field, is an ideal way for spectators to enjoy a picnic in the fresh air with abundant sunshine, while having a front-row seat to the polo matches. Attendees often arrive early to claim their ideal spots next to the field. This experience is not just about enjoying the game; it’s also a social occasion, inviting everyone to immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere.

Stella Artois Val de Vie Polo Clubhouse

The Stella Artois Val de Vie Polo Clubhouse is open from 08:00 to 20:00, Tuesday to Sunday and features a trendy bar, comfy lounges and unbeatable views of the polo fields. Members get amazing perks, including two tickets to the annual Pink Polo event, access to international events, a complimentary polo shirt and cap, discounts on merchandise and a bottle of MCC to celebrate your birthday. Additionally, there are always monthly events, including live music and happy hour specials every first Thursday of the month.
