The 2026 Standard Bank Polo Test Match takes place on Saturday 14 November 2026 at Val de Vie Estate in the Paarl-Franschhoek Valley.

Individual tickets are available for three hospitality experiences:

• Johnnie Walker Blue Lounge – R3 500 per person

Please present your valid digital or printed iTickets Standard Bank Polo Test Match ticket at the Val de Vie Estate security entrance gate for scanning and entry to the Estate. You will receive an event wristband on arrival.

Please ensure that your driving licence and vehicle licence disc are valid, as both are required for Estate entry.

The dress code is Cape Riviera. Think light linen, classic stripes and neutral shades with a touch of blue.

Midi and A-line dresses, one-shoulder styles, tailored shorts and jumpsuits all suit the occasion. Complete your look with a scarf, straw hat or a statement clutch. For men, a linen shirt with rolled-up sleeves, tailored trousers and loafers is a good choice.

Leave the stilettos at home and opt for flats, sandals or sturdy block heels suited to the grass. Remember your sunscreen, too.

The event is for guests aged 18 and over. Unfortunately, children cannot be accommodated.

Val de Vie Estate has three entrances:

Guests with VIP Private Lounge, VIP Private Box or VIP Private Front-Row Box bookings should use the Berg River Gate or Main Gate.

Berg River Gate (R45)

From the N1, take exit 55 for the R45/R101 towards Franschhoek/Paarl/Main Road. Turn right onto Main Road, then take the next left onto the R45. Continue straight until you reach the entrance to Val de Vie Estate on your left.

Main Gate (R301)

From the N1, take exit 59 for Mandela Freedom Road towards Paarl/R301/Wellington. Turn right onto Mandela Freedom Road and continue until you reach the turn-off to Val de Vie Estate on your right. Turn right and follow the road to the Main Gate.

L’Huguenot Gate (R301)

Guests with Johnnie Walker Blue Lounge, Veuve Clicquot Garden or Stella Artois Premium Picnic tickets should use the L’Huguenot Gate.

From the N1, take exit 59 for Mandela Freedom Road towards Paarl/R301/Wellington. Turn right onto Mandela Freedom Road and continue until you reach the turn-off to Val de Vie Estate on your right. Turn right and follow the road towards the Main Gate. Before entering, turn left towards the L’Huguenot Gate and continue until you reach the gate on your right.

You are welcome to bring a picnic blanket. Picnic-style seating will also be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Shade will be provided, so there is no need to bring a parasol.

Please leave picnic baskets and outside food at home. Food and drinks will be available to purchase from the food trucks and bars.

The event is cashless. Only card payments will be accepted at all bars and food trucks.

You must purchase tickets in advance; they will not be available on the day of the event.

Regrettably, no refunds will be issued if you are unable to attend the event.

In the unlikely event that the Standard Bank Polo Test Match is cancelled, ticket holders will receive a refund.

The event is scheduled to proceed in rainy weather, with ample parasols and covered areas available for shelter.
