It is such a blessed piece of ground, with only the best of what life has to offer. Val de Vie is where one falls in love and dreams come true... I invite you to discover this most special of places for yourself.
- What is your favourite memory of the estate, or the most amazing event that it's ever hosted?
The luxury of having a personal life polo game during your pre-dinner drinks – what could be more magnificent? Val de Vie also gets the most incredible sunsets – the sky lights up in pink, purple and shades of orange. |

- What is a normal working day like at Val de Vie?
I suppose it’s your average day on a wine and polo estate – sun shine, clear, fresh air, horses in the paddocks and fresh Lavazza coffee! Once I have attended to the staff and the general duties of the pavilion, I’ll start off with my administration, planning and dealing with wedding enquiries, setting up site visits and so on. Then there will be a meeting... or seven (all in a good day’s work, I say!).
- Why do you love working at Val de Vie?
Val de Vie is the valley of… opportunities, new beginnings, freedom, family, spiritual growth, friendship, challenges and love! I don’t just work here; I live it. Each and every person here is special in their own unique way, handpicked by God to embrace each other, learn from one another and stand strong as one!!
- What is your favourite memory of the estate, or the most amazing event that it's ever hosted?
The Chile vs. South Africa BMW International Polo event on 28 February 2009. It was spectacular!
