Val de Vie will be hosting an International Equestrian Saddle Horse Competition that will involve the SA Protea Team playing against the World Team.

MyCityByNight took note of the second Home Channel Décor & Design Morning that was held at Val de Vie on Saturday 28th May. Hosted by Edith Venter, the event was a great success and raised much-needed funds for The Kibwe Kids charity. Guests also got a dose of creative inspiration from talented people such as decor expert Marius van der Merwe, Rust en Vrede chef Davidi Higgs and Tanya Visser, horticulturist, editor of The Gardener and Die Tuinier and presenter of The Gardener Television Series.

Val de Vie recently hosted the glamorous wedding of Sue and JP Duminy, and wer'e delighted to see the beautiful photos taken by Sybrand Cillie. They really capture the style and elegance of this special day.

Val de Vie is absolutely thrilled that Malcolm Kluk and CGDT have been voted the best designers of the year in SA! To top it off, they will be the only South African designers representing our country at New York Fashion Week. We congratulate them on this fantastic achievement which recognises their flair for fashion.

The team also designed Val die Vie's chic new polo shirts (pictured below), which are on sale to the public. Kindly contact Tehri at the Val de Vie Polo Club if you would like to order one.

Val de Vie was delighted to host its first Muslim wedding this January. The wedding of Saleem and Mishkah was a beautiful day, with pink, crystal black and white forming the back drop for this French themes fairytale.

We loved the bling factor as well as the very royal inspired soft pink rose balls.

Bryani, Atchar and Naan have a complete new meaning for the Val de Vie Events team, and all we can say is it was one massive feast!

The Polo game blew the guests away and many comments were flying around the terrace as guests were treated to a full non-alcoholic cocktail bar. The sprinkles that guests added to their freshly-made smoothies were a definite hit.

We wish the couple everything they desire and more. To the Brides Mom; Mrs Ahmed, you truly supported your daughter and gave her the dream wedding she so wished to have.

Val de Vie was thrilled to host the wedding of Jackie and Laurent, a wonderful Greek celebration that also included a private polo game! We love the amazing photos by ZaraZoo, both of the event and of the couple together. More and more people are talking about the upcoming BMW Polo International at Val de Vie, and we're not surprised! This star-studded event will see India vs South Africa in grand style at the estate on Saturday 26 February. The gates open at 2pm and tickets are on sale at Web Ticket and at Val de Vie Estate on the day. The cost is only R50 per ticket, excluding food and drink, and there are also a variety of hospitality packages.
