Pieter & Jeanine - Val De Vie from FJS Productions.

Val de Vie absolutely loved hosting the wedding of Pieter and Jeanine. This gorgeous couple are truly talented - the beautiful bride was a Miss SA Finalist and princess, while Pieter is an accomplished rugby player.

On their honeymoon the couple heard that Pieter was picked to play in the UK for the Tigers, so they quickly changed their honeymoon plans and left for the UK. Now they're back home and Pieter is playing for the Cheetahs.

As the stunning video by FJS Productions shows, the wedding was a spectacular occasion. We wish the newlyweds all the best for their future together.

It's the start of a new week and the perfect time to get inspired. We love this moodboard by Elsje Designs which captures the fun side of the 1950s in candy coloured shades and adorable imagery. Look out for more moodboard magic later this week!

Liz and Gareth that got married at Val de Vie in April, and we loved hosting their wedding day at the estate. Based in the UK, the couple wanted to enjoy this special day in the Winelands, surrounded by their loved ones. It was a wonderfully relaxed occasion and every element went by smoothly, just as our events team knew it would!

Here's a closer look at the Veuve Clicquot Masters Polo which was hosted by Val de Vie. As the video shows, this glamorous event was all about sensational style and pure polo excitement - what a dazzling day!

Val de Vie hosted a decor morning on the 28 May 2011 in aid of charity. The event, which was sponsored by Plascon, The Home Channel and Edith Venter, raised much appreciated funds for Kibwe Kids Charity. Guests were treated to glasses of bubbly, following by three wonderful talks from decor expert Marius Van der Merwe, acclaimed chef David Higgs and talented gardener Tania Visser. All in all, it was both an inspiring and uplifting morning!

Val de Vie Events was privileged to host the wedding of Mandi and Daniel on 11 January 2011.

This beautiful couple share an appreciation for fine wine, great food and celebrations filled with love and memories that will last a life time! A finely decorated chuppah was styled inside the Pavilion, where guests were surrounded by a pure, loving and graceful ambience. The day was completed with a personalised polo match that included the teams wearing the family monogram. Our team, thrilled to be part of the procession, was proud to host 210 guests in the ballroom on such a wonderful summer's day!

The couple currently reside in America, where we wish them the best of luck and blessings for the future.

We can't wait to welcome them back to South Africa in the future. Mazel tov!

We love these gorgeous photos of Marilize and Chris, a wonderful couple who tied the knot at Val de Vie on Good Friday. Marilize is one of Cape Town's top stylists in Cape Town and boasts numerous celebrity clients. She also works on the Expresso set on SABC 3.

True to her talent, Marilize designed her own wedding and sourced every decor item for her reception, making this wedding a show-stopping event for the 72 guests that attended. To top it off, Heinz Winkler blew everyone away with his magical voice during the ceremony.

Elsjé Oosthuizen from Val de Vie Events assisted the bride with the on-site coordination and the pair became best friends in no time! The Val de Vie Events team wish Marilize and Chris the best life ahead and pray a blessing over them and their future.

Val de Vie is delighted that Black Bass have been spotted in the Berg River! In keeping with our efforts to encourage biodiversity, the Black Bass are an indication of how the estate is becoming an eco-haven in the Paarl-Franschhoek Valley.

We absolutely loved hosting the wedding of Derek and Diani at Val de Vie! They were a wonderful couple to work with and we're thrilled to see the stunning photos taken by Peartree Photography.
