The gates open at 2pm and tickets are on sale at Web Ticket and at Val de Vie Estate on the day. The cost is only R50 per ticket, excluding food and drink, and we offer a variety of hospitality packages.

The hospitality packages available from SAIL include the Chukka Club package (www.webticket.co.za) and the Champions Pavilion package (www.sail.co.za).

At R360 per person, guests of the Chukka Club will be granted access to a private area next to the Val de Vie Pavilion, where they can enjoy a complimentary glass of wine , and a limited cocktail style menu. The venue makes for an exclusive environment providing a superb view of the match.

For those seeking an even greater level of elegance and sophistication combined with unrivalled networking and socializing, the Champions Pavilion offers all of this at a cost of R1 400 per person, excluding VAT. Here guests will be able to enjoy an Indian style cocktail menu and a complimentary local bar.

Val de Vie was delighted to host its first Muslim wedding this January. The wedding of Saleem and Mishkah was a beautiful day, with pink, crystal black and white forming the back drop for this French themes fairytale.

We loved the bling factor as well as the very royal inspired soft pink rose balls.

Bryani, Atchar and Naan have a complete new meaning for the Val de Vie Events team, and all we can say is it was one massive feast!

The Polo game blew the guests away and many comments were flying around the terrace as guests were treated to a full non-alcoholic cocktail bar. The sprinkles that guests added to their freshly-made smoothies were a definite hit.

The Val De Vie Stable Yard has welcomed a few exciting additions over the last couple of months. Karen Dormel has recently bought a stunning warm blood Gelding by the name of "Conticki". He is only 4 years old, so Karen has her work cut out for her for the next couple of years. He is showing huge potential and Karen would like to start competing him in the Dressage classes at horse shows. Karen, we wish you all the best with your stunning new horse and hope to keep everyone updated with your progress and achievements.

Isabel Reith, is new member of the Val De Vie family who has moved her two young Warm blood mares in to the yard. Cantara Ole, a 4 year old chestnut mare and Camilia Ole, a 5 year old chestnut mare. They have come to Val De Vie to start their training to become show jumpers. Be sure to also keep an eye on these two mares that are already showing lots of potential. I have also recently bought a new horse. Her name is Lind'Or, she is a 6 year old warm blood mare, also a addition to the show jumping string that we have at Val De Vie.

We are also going to be welcoming the Anderson's to the Val De Vie family. Albert Anderson and his family are also going to be coming to the yard all the way from Johannesburg. They will be bringing their two ponies that jump CA (Children s A grade), and their two young warm bloods.

The Val De Vie Polo Club Chukkas are played every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Friends, Family, home owners and polo enthusiasts are always welcome to come and enjoy the thrill of the ponies galloping full speed up and down the polo field.
